Book Talk:   The Book Talk group fits our times - flexible, contemporary and economical.  It meets every six weeks at Suju's Coffee, alternating between Saturday mornings and Monday evenings, to discuss books (available in paperback) that have been published in the past five years.

Day Literature:   Books chosen for discussion range from the classics to best sellers.
Discussion is conducted in such a way that everyone can participate even though they may not have had the opportunity to read the book.   We meet the second Thursday of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in members' homes.

Book Exchange:   Like reading best sellers, but don't like library waiting lists and time restrictions or bookstore prices?  Then the book exchange is for you.  To join, purchase a hardback book from the current best seller's list, either fiction or non-fiction.  Your book will be rotated among book exchange members on the first of each month and will be returned to you at the end of the year.  Please call before purchasing your book to avoid duplication.

Great Decisions:   The topic for discussion will be chosen from the U.S. Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions briefing book.  Each year the book presents eight of the most important foreign policy issues facing the USA.

Around the World Dining:   The group prepares and shares a variety of multicultural meals during the year in member's homes.  Come and join us on our epicurian journeys.

Bridge Marathon:   Our AAUW Marathon Bridge Group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-8 pm at Mission Coffee.  We play eight times during the year with 20 hands played at each meeting.  Each player donates $20 at the beginning of the year.  A running score is kept.  For each two tables, the high table wins $60.  This leaves $100 for local scholarships.  We have donated an average of $250 annually.  New groups are forming.  In marathon, one plays with the same partner all year.  Come and find a partner and sign up.
